Dressed for going mad at Vintage Village

I’ve been flexing my spending muscle at Vintage Village today in preparation for next month when I’ll be released into the clothing stalls! Nibbles also came with us and this is us all near Cara’s stall - Madam Mod Makes. I’m wearing skinny jeans from River Island, Aldo boots and Kookai tank top. My cape is made out of genuine Donegal tweed which I purchased when visiting Lyndon’s Mum and Dad a few years ago. This was pre my sewing days so I got a dress maker to craft it into a cape for me. Isla’s wearing an H&M dress and a fur cape by Dirty Sue. Take a look at the great stuff I purchased today below.

1950′s shot glasses from All Mod Cons. I had already spotted a set of these when I was finder of the fair last month and I have bought these for Princess White but when I saw there was another set I couldn’t resist buying them for us!

Mini cup cakes by Stuart Thornley Cake Design, as you know my cupcake dealer is Lily Bud Cupcakes but when I saw these I couldn’t resist. I’ve just had two after my roast dinner….yum, yum!

Hornsea Flour jar, my Grandma had a lot of Hornsea pottery in the brown so when I saw this it reminded me of her. I picked the blue as it’s a better match with my kitchen.

We bought this fan from All Our Yesterdays, last month we bought Thumbellina from their stall and Isla loves it. Isla is also wearing a hairband given to her by Moya from Vintage Buttons, Moya is a very special person who donates all her proceeds to cancer charities. She’s also donated a raffle prize for my Frock Swap. Thanks Moya x

Cherry Badge

Russian Dolls from Papino.

All in all a fab day, topped off with a gorgeous Haloumi sandwich from Babushkas. Thanks Vintage Village for yet another fabulous day, can’t wait for next month x

So pleased you and Isla could call round again! It’s so close to the end of your Make Do Not Spend Challenge and I can’t wait to see what the final amazing tally is.

Bring a shopping trolley next month – and watch out stallies! :)
