It’s just one week till party time folks…have you got your ticket yet? If not e-mail me vicky@sewabee.co.uk to avoid major disappointment
Isla took my photo this evening so I’m a bit blurry but that’s no bad thing as I’m not feeling my outfit today, far too sombre. I may rebel against this tomorrow and try and force in as many colours as possible, what do you think? Do you dare me? My boring outfit is Matalan polo neck, H&M cardigan and M&S Limited Collection trousers. My newest accessory is Max my lazy cat, or “Fat lad” as Al calls him.
I’ve just spent an hour struggling to insert a concealed zip in my dress, this may mean nothing to you but those of you who sew will know exactly what I mean. No matter how many times I do it I always forget how I did it the last time. Anyway it was well worth it and the dress is looking fab, just a few finishing touches left to do and I’ll be all ready
I promised you a glimpse of some of the raffle prizes tonight so here we go; first up is a toning necklace and bracelet made out of buttons. These were donated by Moya who I met at Vintage Village, can you believe she doesn’t make a penny from these beautiful creations? Instead she donates all the money to a range of cancer charities, I don’t know anyone else as generous as Moya!
Moya has also donated a gorgeous fascinator hairband.
Anyone who came to our Cherry Events Craft Fair will remember the sock monkeys on sale, they went down a storm. The very lovely Apryl has kindly donated a Christmas Sock Monkey and a Sock Penguin….how cute?
Those of you that follow the blog will know that Princess White and I have training sessions with Caroline Fisher every month. We first met Caroline via a raffle prize and she has very kindly agreed to donate a prize to the frock swap, how do you fancy a personal training session, sauna and fizz for two. It comes highly recommended by me and Princess White.
On Monday I’m off up to see Dirty Sue to choose a raffle prize from her fantastic faux fur products and Lily Sue Lingerie are also going to donate so watch this space. If you would like to donate a raffle prize to help me raise more money just leave me a comment or e-mail me vicky@sewabee.co.uk
Fundraising total £4,110.34 – thanks to Dotty and Sarah xx

Those button necklaces and braclets are great and I love the sock penguin and monkey must get the pattern to make one! I would have donated a prize if i’d thought about it sooner! Hope that everything goes great for you at your frock swap and that you enjoy your splurg!! CX
